Don't Miss Netizens' Reactions To Nupur Sanon's Clothing Range

Actor Nupur Sanon, sister of Bollywood star Kriti Sanon, is facing backlash on social media after netizens found the pricing on her fashion label's website. Her brand has come under fire for offering 'basic' clothing at 'ridiculous' prices, with many users questioning the value and reasons behind the cost.

The issue began after users started sharing screenshots of the website on social media platform Reddit. The prices, according to many, didn’t match the products. For example, the most affordable dress listed is around Rs 7,000, while a standard kurta set is priced at Rs 26,500. Many other items, including asymmetrical dresses, maxi dresses, jumpsuits, and rompers, fall in Rs 9,000 and Rs 12,000 range.

Taking a jibe at the brand, one Reddit user wrote, "The ridiculous price points of Nupur Sanon's clothing line doesn't explain why such basic clothes are sold and such high price points. Nupur Sanon, the sister of actress Kriti Sanon, made her on-screen debut opposite Akshay Kumar in the hit music video Filhall in 2019, later returned for its sequel, Filhaal 2: Mohabbat, in 2021. In 2023, she appeared in the Telugu film Tiger Nageswara Rao. Her Hindi film debut (supposed to be) Noorani Chehra is yet to be released.
