Housefull 5 Box Office Collection Day 6: 120 Crore NOT Out For Akshay Kumar's Comedy Thriller

Housefull 5 has already made a place for itself in the 100-crore club. Despite facing a clash with Kamal Haasan’s anticipated Thug Life, this comedy thriller emerged victorious in the box office battle. Surpassing Kesari 2’s India net collection, it is aiming to shatter more records in the coming weeks.

According to Sacnilk’s report, Housefull 5 earned Rs 8 crore on Day 6. This has taken the total to Rs 119.75 as per early estimates. Initial trends suggest the film will pick up pace again over the weekend since there’s no major Hindi release this Friday.

Housefull 5 features Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Dino Morea, Sanjay Dutt, Johny Lever, Chunky Panday, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Chitrangada Singh, Ranjeet, Nikitin Dheer, Sonam Bajwa and Soundarya Sharma. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film is set on a cruise and revolves around Ranjeet’s heir, whose identity is yet to be disclosed. His 100^th birthday celebration turns deadly when a person on cruise dies.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Housefull 5 producer Sajid Nadiadwala spoke about the concept of two different climaxes shown to the audience separately. He said, “The idea of having two climaxes was a bold and edgy choice and that being worked also helped in the film's favour. Such outcomes encourage me to make more creatively daring decisions in the future.”
